ACCPAC offers a financial suite which includes the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Payable, Banks and Tax modules as well as Inventory and purchases if necessary.

ACCPAC can work both ways, either running each  company in its own database or running all companies in 1 database but without compromising security or financial and statutory reporting.

In the case where each company is run in its own database:

  • Company grouping shares security and exchange rates.

  • GL Account creation automatically generates multiple accounts.

  • Inter-Company Transactions can spread and post transaction amounts over different companies based on rules e.g. percentage rate.
  • GL Consolidations can pull individual financial company data into the Head Office Company or different company for group reporting purposes.

In the case where all companies are run in 1 db:

  • Inter-entity Transactions can post transactions through segments for statutory and financial reporting while monitoring Accounts Payable for particular groups.
  • GL Security by segment ensures that users cannot post transactions to incorrect companies.

Additionally, ACCPAC offers:

  • Voyage accounting. ACCPAC Project & Job Costing can track Income and costs per voyage while providing posting to ACCPAC GL reversible batches for monthly for management accounts.
  • Payroll. Integrated payroll with Overtimes and Timecards posting directly to GL.
